Description
The Trane SEN2671 Differential Pressure Sensor designed only for Trane HVAC equipment. It measures the differences in air pressure between two system sites, commonly the supply and return ducts. The sensor is assigned a pressure rating of -0.75 to 9″WC. This information concerning pressure differentials in the HVAC system must be known by the HVAC system. The pressure differences are tracked by the SEN2671 sensor to ensure proper air flow through the duct work. Doing this prevents problems such as high pressure build up, that could damage components or insufficient airflow, which could mean poor heating or cooling efficiency. It smoothly connects with Trane’s control systems since it provides a 5VDC signal based on the measured pressure for optimum efficiency and efficient operation.
