Description
The Trane COM9856 is a highly efficient scroll compressor for commercial and industrial Trane air conditioning systems for cooling large buildings. This workhorse, measuring only 24 inches in length, is relatively small but powerful, brazed stub tubes are used for the connection of the refrigerant circuits. This works with a motor that drives two scroll-like parts in a hermetic casing. This is because as one scroll moves around the other, refrigerant gas is compressed raising pressure and temperature. This compressed refrigerant then flows within the system to cool the air indoors and expelling it outdoors using R-410A friendly refrigerant. Equipped with a 10-ton refrigeration capacity, the COM9856 deals with large cooling loads in commercial and industrial structures.
