Description
The Trane SFCTR3P75A120VL Contactor is a heavy-duty electrical switch used in Trane HVAC systems that use three-phase power. A control relay with a low voltage coil in this case 120V to open a high current switch. When energized, the coil creates a magnetic field, which physically connects internal contacts and allows up to 75 amps of current to flow. It can also efficiently control the operation of high-power components, such as those used in 3-horsepower motors, and compressors. The Trane Contactor is designed for wide operating temp from -40°F to 150°F, thus suitable for a variety of environments.
