Description
The Trane SWT3372 is commonly used safety switch apt for Trane HVAC systems instrumental for controlling the flow of the circuits and particularly protecting the compressor and other part that may be at risk of damage due to low pressure. This switch is of single-pole, single-throw type with dimensions of 4.5 x 4.6 x 4.9 inches and is designed to measure the pressure of the system. When pressure drops to 35 ”(PSI), this works as a protector cutting the electrical circuit. This shutdown helps to protect the system from the compressor running at low pressure that causes overheating and expensive repairs. On the other hand, when pressure increases beyond 55 PSI, the switch initiates a switch off the circuit and turns the circuit back on.
