The Trane CON0849 is a pack of 10 Strain Relief connections used on temperature sensors used in Trane HVAC equipment. These connections are pertinent for protecting temperature sensor cables from mechanical pull or push forces. They protect internal parts and cables from tension, which if applied on cables can cause short circuits or lead to wrong temperature readings at the connection end. This ensures reliable signal transportation from the control board of the Trane HVAC machine to the temperature sensors. If maintenance or repairs, having ten connections in a box will enable you to replace them with ease as you also have spares for the future.
