Description
The Trance CTR2712 is a 32 amp 2 pole contactor for HVAC application. It is in fact a robust relay to switch on or off the power supply to various sections. An electromagnet is activated by a low voltage 24V signal which switches on the connected circuit. Machinery like motor and compressor can allow high currents up to 32 amperes to pass through it. This group uses heating systems, air conditioners and other forms of HVAC equipments to heat their houses. It disconnects the high voltage power circuit from the low voltage control circuit and makes it safer and efficient to operate.
