Trane MOT19042 is a single phase electric motor model that is created to be used in HVAC applications. In other words, it is a motor that converts electrical energy to mechanical energy to operate different parts of an HVAC system. It runs at a voltage of 277 V and produces ½ HP of power making it appropriate for commercial and industrial uses that do not demand high levels of power. The motor is of a fixed speed of 750 RPM and this guarantees the machine the required reliability in its operations. The manual of the Trane uses a type of belly mounting where the motor is lying flat on its belly while its shaft is in the upward position.
