Description
The Trane CTR2881 is a 3-pole contactor which is a heavy-duty electrical switch for HVAC or Heating ventilation and Air conditioning equipments. It controls electrical circuits with tremendous power with a coil voltage of 24V. When energized, the contactor uses magnetism to open and close the groups of contacts, and the circuit is capable of handling up to 50amps of the current flow. Because of this switching capability, it is ideal for controlling HVAC system components such as compressors and heaters. This will be useful in applications where several high-power components must either be switched on or off at the same time
