Description
The Spirax-Sarco 57061 Ft-75 is a 1.5-inch flanged and threaded steam trap that automatically removes condensate from steam systems, minimizing buildup and assuring optimal performance. Its bimetallic element and float mechanism work together to reliably remove condensate at a range of temperatures and steam pressures. Condensate accumulation causes the float to raise, blocking the steam vent and enabling condensate to escape via the trap. The cycle is restarted when the condensate level falls because the float lowers, opening the vent and letting steam pass through.The HVAC equipment that uses steam for heating, such as heat exchangers, unit heaters, air handling coils, and steam main drip stations, frequently uses this trap.
