Description
The Supco SSN085KS Nitride Furnace Igniter is a durable silicon nitride based ignition component for gas furnaces, boilers and HVAC systems. It heats at 120VAC, rapidly to over 2192°F through electrical resistance 34-64 Ohms at 75°F, 0.8-2 amps to auto ignite gas via joule heating. The PTC ceramic design of its design self regulates temperature for efficient, consistent ignition and resists oxidation and thermal degradation. This is a durable performance, low maintenance unit that is compatible with Goodman, White Rodgers, and similar models. It can be used on light commercial and residential systems, and provides safe and sufficiently efficient ignition without electromagnetic interference.
