The Intermatic AG4803C3 AG Surge Protective Device is designed to safeguard electrical equipment against surge power. It is suitable for working in voltage levels of 277-480V. It offers well immunity to high energy transients that may be damaging to sensitive loads, with 100kA surge current. This is fitted in HVAC systems, and prevents voltage fluctuations resulting from lightning, utility transfers or other electrical disturbances, from damaging electronic components, compressor and controllers. Its housing is NEMA 4X compliant it means that the unit is covered from dust, moisture, and corrosion, which makes it long-lasting and perfect for use in an open environment.
