Description
The Johnson Controls F-700-9 Compression Tee is a fitting that is installed in HVAC systems to join and provide a connection of 1/4″ tubing. This tee fitting has compression ends which include a body, ferrule and compression nut. Its primary function is to connect the tubing segments tightly and leakproof without threading or soldering the joints. use compression fittings to ease installation. The installation process includes placing the tubing into the tee body and then screwing the pressure nut on the body. In the HVAC system, the nut ensures that it does not leak and the gas or liquid flow is constant it does this by compressing the ferrule against the tube.
