Description
The Lennox 17F51 is a Collector Box Kit, an essential accessory in homes and businesses, especially for those with the series units. This is a cold end header box which is a half-inch diameter and is crucial in refrigerant control. Refrigerant, the fluid used in the HVAC system, heat from the indoor environment and dumps it in the outside environment. It collects refrigerant from several evaporator coils before it goes to a single line before getting to the compressor. This makes piping of refrigerant easier and helps in the overall performance of the system by providing right flow of refrigerant.
