Description
The Rheem-Ruud 611062 is a 3/8 inch thermal expansion valve (TXV) to be installed on the HVAC systems using R-410A refrigerant and carrying maximum of 2. 5 tons. A TXV is a crucialcomponent of air conditioners and refrigerator which controls the amount of refrigerant that passes through the evaporator coil. TXV receives refrigerant as a liquid at high pressure and as such the pressure drops when it passes through the valve, then undergoes some evaporation. This process 2 removes heat energy from the air in the room where it is applied hence the function of an air conditioner.
