Description
The Carrier HK06MB028 Dual Pressure Switch is an essential part of HVAC systems. It measures two different pressures usually referred to as high side pressure and low side pressure. This is a requirement to monitor continuously for safety and optimality of operation most of the time. It consists of two separate pressure sensing means, each of which is connected to a separate pressure line. If the pressure at any of the two points goes up or comes down to a certain level, the switch opens or closes electrical contacts. The switch can turn on the compressor when the pressures are within the set range and turn it off.
