The Daikin-McQuay 027471200 Rain Slinger is a circular water management in the HVAC systems to make the moisture move away from the sensitive parts of the outdoor equipment. It has a 6.75-inch outer diameter and is attached to a rotating shaft close to coils or drain pans to expel the condensate and other water incidentally outward to minimize accumulation. It fits on fan or blower shafts of rooftop units and outdoor condensers to ensure clear airflow paths, minimize corrosion risk and ensure stable performance through water dispersion control in the system.
