Description
The Daikin-McQuay 0251L00000 Expansion Valve is a metric component used to control the amount of liquid refrigerant that goes into the evaporator section of the cooling equipment in HVAC systems. These flows through the valve receive controlled pressure reduction, which enables the fluid to expand and transition to a fluid state that flows to the evaporator coil. The liquid line and the evaporator inlet will cause flow of refrigerant to the evaporator via an internal metering passage, which operates under system conditions. It is located in the refrigerant loop, where it ensures controlled distribution of refrigerant necessary.
