Description
The ABB PSE25-600-70 soft starter is used for the proper control of the HVAC systems. It operates at 24A and 600 VAC, controlling the voltage during starting to reduce the inrush currents and mechanical stress on motors. This gradual acceleration raises the degree of protection of motors, extends the service life of equipment, and reduces maintenance costs. It is used with compressors, fans and pumps and gives a smooth start without shock like sudden torque. Its rate is 60Hz with a maximum of 10 starts per hour and it is energy efficient by cutting down the costs of operating the HVAC systems.
