Description
The Carrier RC6800499 Thermistor is an essential component of an HVAC systems. Depending on the temperature, its resistance alters in a way that can be easily measured by the system’s control board to regulate the system. This thermistor is applied in furnaces, air conditioners, and heat pumps to measure air or refrigerant temperature. Its accurate sensing of temperature lets in proper heating of cooling and at correct temperatures it ensures comfort and proper use of power sources. Some of the advantages include, increased efficiency of the system, comfort, and possibly energy saving due to the optimized operation.
