The Amana-Goodman 0163L00005 Belt Drive Blower Shaft is an essential part of many residential and light commercial air conditioning and heating applications such as air conditioners, furnaces and heat pumps. This is usually a long lasting component usually of steel, and rotates in the blower assembly as the main shaft. It appropriately conveys electricity from the motor to blower wheel so as to facilitate the distribution of air within HVAC system. The blower wheel is fixed on the shaft and it has a function of suction of return air, the air conditioning it through the evaporator coil in cooling and heating mode through heat exchanger, and distributing it in the living or working area.
