Description
The Honeywell CTP-5V-20A Split-Core Analog Current Transducer measures electrical load passing through a conductor and converts the reading into a corresponding 05 VDC analogue output. Its split-core housing allows placement around an existing wire without removing the conductor from its terminals. Selectable 5, 10, and 20 ampere ranges provide different measurement options for monitored circuits. In building automation and electrical control applications in HVAC systems, the unit communicates load information to a controller, meter, or monitoring panel. This feedback can indicate changes in motor or equipment demand, allowing connected controls to assess operating conditions without directly interrupting the monitored circuit.
