Description
The Trane HTR4015 Submersible oil heater is used to avoid oil thickening in HVAC equipment during cold climates. This 125W heater is immersed directly into the oil sump of particular Trane HVAC models, mainly in the compressor of large commercial or industrial applications such as chillers or rooftop units. The HTR4015 keeps the oil at the right thickness to lubricate all moving parts to prevent damage during start-ups where temperatures are extremely low. Advantages are longer compressor durability, less stress, and better performance in low temperatures. This small but very important part helps to maintain proper functioning and prevent expensive HVAC equipment from being damaged by congealed oil.
