Description
The Trane MOT9260 1HP variable speed motor manufactured to work on single phase 208-230V power supply which is used in HVAC systems. This motor can therefore control its operating speed depending on the real-time requirements of the system in which it is used. This means that the energy consumed in comparison to conventional single-speed motors is considerably saved since the motor will only run at full power at all times. It is installed in air handling units, fan coil units, and rooftop units. Advantages are higher energy effectiveness, lower noise level owing to the absence of fan noise at low speeds, better comfort due to better temperature regulation, longer equipment life, and less mechanical damage.
