Description
The Honeywell HVFDSD3C1500G100A 150HP Variable Frequency Drive is used for variable speed control of AC motors in HVAC systems. Located at 460V inside a NEMA 1 housing, it controls the frequency and voltage of the supplied motor to ensure the accuracy of the motor operation. This makes it possible to achieve proper airflow in air handlers, pumps, and fans that are in the building to meet the real needs of the building. The VFD helps to reduce motor speed during low demand and therefore increases energy efficiency and decreases operating costs. It also provides less pulsating motor starts which is less mechanical stress on equipment and therefore longer equipment life, better temperature control, and occupant comfort.
