The Trane KIT03033USA Hot Surface Ignitor Kit is a replacement part of a gas-fired furnace or an HVAC systems to the combustion of a burner. It contains a ceramic heating element when energized, becomes hot to a high temperature and then directly lights up the gas without a standing pilot.
