Description
The Copeland KATB-015E-CAV-800 Semi-Hermetic Compressor is used in commercial refrigeration and HVAC systems. It uses R404A refrigerant and has an AC/DC cooling capacity of 6900 BTU at 230 volts and a single-phase electrical power supply. This compressor comes with an in-line design where the motor and the compressor are in one casing, reducing the chances of refrigerant leakages and contamination that reduce the efficiency of the compressor. Semi-hermetic construction is preferred over fully hermetic construction because the casing can be opened for service without replacement. This compressor is used in HVAC systems, especially in refrigeration on commercial refrigeration such as walk-in coolers, refrigerated store rooms, and air conditioning.
