Description
The ICM Controls ICM2907 Direct Spark Ignition Board 60Hz regulates automatic ignition gas valve operation, and flame sensing in gas-fired heating equipment. Installed within HVAC systems control cabinets its microprocessor circuitry receives 18-30VAC signals from the thermostat to initiate the heating sequence. The board controls a high-voltage spark generator to ignite the burner gas while monitoring flame current via a sensing probe. Once flame is established, the board maintains the 120VAC main gas valve output. Managing timing sequences and safety lockouts ensures controlled burner startup, continuous flame verification and safe heating operation.
