Description
The Trane CTR2606 Contactor is used for switching electrical circuits in different applications. It has a strong build with a current of 60 Amps and is powered by 24 Volts. This contactor is an electrically operated switch which enables remote or automatic control of power to the equipment connected to it. When energized, the contactor makes internal connections which connect the power source to the load through the closed contacts. When de-energised the contacts move open and therefore break the circuit. This switching action is essential for many applications such as motor starting and stopping, load switching in industrial control, and HVAC equipment.
