Description
The Mueller Industries A17922 Changeover Manifold NPTFE x NPTFI is a particular type of valve that is used for HVAC systems. It makes it easier to join pressure relief valves and rupture discs in the system. The manifold itself has two internal shutoff seats that separate the two circuits it connects and thus one valve can be maintained or replaced without affecting the other circuit. This is particularly useful because it ensures that the system is running even as the other is being serviced. It is constructed from brass, thus it can be used at low temperatures of up to 40°F below zero and high temperatures of up to 300°F.
