Description
The Siemens Industrial Controls 3RU2126-1GB0 Thermal Overload Relay is used for motor protection and a 4.5- 6.3A current setting. the works through sensing the heat produced by the current; high current leads to bending of the bimetallic strip, which in turn triggers a mechanism to cut off the motor circuit to avoid overheating. Though it can be used in any industrial machinery, this relay is used in HVAC systems to protect motors in blowers, fans, and compressors.
