The Carrier 348558-784-CBP Inducer Assembly is an essential part of gas-fired HVAC systems, such as furnaces and boilers. As an inducer assembly, its basic purpose is to draw the appropriate air for combustion and expel combustion products safely. Designed to work at 115V and 60 Hz and equipped with a dual-speed motor that works at 2730 RPM, this single phase mode makes ignition and consistent heating easy and safe. The inducer develops a flow of negative pressure essentially drawing flue gases through the heat exchanger and exhausting them out of the dwelling, to minimize back drafting into the inhabitable zone.
