The Lennox 31W19 Induced Draft Flue Transition is a ducting element that is safe in directing combustion gases of a furnace to the venting system and ensuring proper airflow and exhaust in heating systems. Usually, it is mounted in residential and light commercial gas-fired furnaces in which the induced draft fans are employed to enhance the efficiency of combustion and ensure safe venting. The flue transition is the part of the HVAC systems that acts as the interconnecting point between the draft inducer of the furnace and the vent pipe and that conveys the exhaust gases out of the appliance and maintains the flow of air.
