It works normally in an open position, meaning that the fluid can flow through the valve until the actuator changes the flow. When operated, the valve regulates or shuts off the flow through its body, which is made of stainless steel and has a female-by-female connection. Designed for fan coil units and air handlers, it provides accurate control with a 1Cv flow coefficient.
