Description
The Trane SLG0052 slinger is a small 6.25″ length accessory for Trane HVAC systems. It is a spinning disk with a 2.38″ outside diameter and 0.5″ bore that attaches to a shaft. The shaft and slinger rotate together. The centrifugal force produced by this throws any liquids or debris that might gather on the shaft off. Once this buildup starts to occur, the Trane slinger prevents the shaft and the bearings from coming into contact with each other by helping to shield the bearings and shaft from damage, which then lengthens the life of the equipment and improves its performance together.
