The Sporlan Controls 154316 1/4-Ton Thermostatic Expansion Valve is a refrigeration and air conditioning equipment. It regulates the feeding of refrigerant into the evaporator to enhance cooling operation because of the high refrigerant flow to the system. It works by feeling the temperature of controlling and evaporating the flow of refrigerant. If the evaporator temperature increases then, the valve opens to a large level so that more refrigerant can flow, and increased cooling capacity. when there is a low temperature, the flow valve reduces flow to avoid undercooling and potential to the system. This valve is normally applied in low-capacity refrigeration systems in residential and light commercial refrigeration equipment such as refrigerators, freezers, and small air conditioning equipment.
