The Danfoss 131L9868 10 HP VLT Variable Frequency Drive is an advanced appliance intended for regulating the speed and torque of electric motors in HVAC systems. This VFD works at 460V and provides a power rating of 7.5kW and can control motor speeds according to the current heating or cooling requirements. From this capability, it is possible to realize substantial energy efficiency, which can be as high as 70%, and increase the useful longevity of HVAC systems by reducing the frequency of cyclic loads, and by smooth starting/stopping. Often installed in air handling units and chillers, the VLT drive enhances the control of airflow and temperature thereby enhancing the comfort of the occupants.
