Description
The Sporlan Controls 128112 3-Ton Thermostatic Expansion Valve (TXV) is intended for use with HVAC systems that use R-404A refrigerant. This valve has 1/2” x 7/8” ODF connections and is suitable for 3-ton systems. The TXV controls the amount of refrigerant, controlling pressure and temperature for better and efficient cooling and to avoid the liquid refrigerant from passing through the evaporator. It is mostly applied in commercia and industrial air conditioning and heating systems because it improves efficiency and performance. They include increased system availability, energy efficiency and proper refrigerant flow, all of which lead to better system performance.
