Description
The Danfoss 121L8611 Scroll Compressor has high efficiency for HVAC systems. It has a cooling capacity of 51000 BTU at 460 V with a phase electric current. This kind of compressor uses two spiral scrolls, the stationary one and the other that rotates in an orbit, for compressing refrigerant or air. The orbiting scroll travels around the cylinder and captures and compresses the gas in scroll-like chambers in a crescent form which enables continuous compression without much vibration and noise. This configuration makes it most suitable for applications in air conditioners, heat pumps, and refrigeration. Advantages of the include small size, high reliability because of reduced moving parts, and increased energy efficiency compared to conventional compressors.
