Description
The Sporlan Controls 126443 16-Ton Thermostatic Expansion Valve (TXV) is used in HVAC systems with R-22 refrigerant. This valve has a flow capacity of up to 16 tons is constructed from brass and has a connection size of 7/8” x 1-3/8” ODF. The TXV controls the amount of refrigerant that gets to the evaporator coil depending on the temperature and pressure, to prevent the coil from frosting or being overfed. As utilized in large cooling systems including commercial air conditioning and refrigeration, this TXV optimizes energy consumption, ensures steady cooling operation, and minimizes the potential for system failure.
