Description
The Nordyne 1016293R Pressure Switch is an essential safety part which is installed in different HVAC systems, especially in gas furnaces. This switch is used for measuring pressure differences within the furnace system and maintaining safety and efficiency. More accurately, it is defined as the difference in pressure between two points the pressure of the combustion air intake and the induced draft or flue pressure. This pressure difference in terms of inches of water column shows the right flow of air through the combustion chamber and the venting system. This operates at a pressure of 0.85/0.40 in. w.c., which means that the valve is capable of being turned on or off at these pressure differentials.
