The York S1-025-47961-000 Wiring Harness is a unique electrical part used to link an S5 universal control board with a variable frequency drive in HVAC systems. This harness enables accurate and consistent signal transfer from one of these control units to another. The S5 UCB is also responsible for controlling the temperature, fan speed, and operation of other elements of the HVAC system. The VFD, in contrast, controls the speed of the system’s motors and, therefore, energy usage and productivity. Due to the proper integration of these two essential parts, the wiring harness plays the role of the central conductor of all the components of the HVAC system.
