Description
The Trane MOT12614 is an ECM product that is a 1/2 horsepower HVAC fan motor. While ordinary AC motors are rigid in speed, ECM motors utilize sophistication within them to vary speeds. The Trane MOT12614 is designed to work with air handlers, furnaces and rooftops that use multiple types of HVAC equipment. Its specifications include an operable 115/230V voltage and a rotation in the counter clockwise direction of 1050 RPM. Since the motor speed is accurately proportional to the heating or cooling requirement, the Trane MOT12614 uses less energy than the AC motors, thus, saving your money on electricity bills.
