Description
The Trane COM10798 Compressor is a small but powerful and efficient compressor for residential. Unlike conventional piston type of compressor, this Trane model uses scroll type of compressor that operates effectively. In the closed casing, two meshing coils work as a compressor, pumping the refrigerant gas. This design translates to a 1.75-ton capacity which is suitable for handling moderate cooling loads in homes or small buildings. The Trane COM10798 uses R-410A refrigerant, which is more environmentally than many earlier models of refrigerants. The refrigerant gas is in a liquid form under high pressure, and it moves through the system, where it takes heat from the inside of a building and dumps it outside.
