Description
The International Comfort Products 1176124 Flue Box Insulation Assembly separates hot combustion exhaust from the surrounding surfaces of a gas furnace flue collector box. Installed against the interior panels, its insulating material forms a thermal barrier between the exhaust path and the cabinet structure. This arrangement reduces direct heat transfer to nearby wiring and internal components while keeping the flue area thermally isolated. This insulation assembly is compatible with furnace flue boxes as part of the combustion exhaust arrangement in HVAC systems. Its placement around the collector box supports controlled heat transfer and maintains the intended flue passage during heating operation.
