Description
The Sporlan Controls 110011 1/4-1/3 Ton Thermostatic Expansion Valve (TXV) is used in controlling the refrigerant flow in HVAC systems. It is designed for systems having a refrigeration capacity of 1/4 to 1/3 ton, suitable for small to medium cooling loads. The valve connection size is 3/8” x 1/2”, allowing the valve to connect to standard refrigerant lines. Because the TXV responds to changes in both temperature and pressure to control the amount of refrigerant that is allowed through to the rest of the system, it increases the efficiency and capabilities of HVAC systems. Refrigeration is widely used in air conditioning systems, heat pumps as well as refrigeration machinery for cooling and to continue with the standardization of temperatures.
