The Lochinvar & A.O. Smith 100165901 Pilot Assembly LPG is used for lighting up the gas-based HVAC equipment. This initial assembly for LPG fuel produces a small flame to ignite the main burner in products such as water heaters and boilers. It operates on the basis of permitting a steady and well measured stream of LP gas to a pilot burner through which it ignites when a pilot burner spark or a continuous ignition system impacts on it.
