Description
The Sporlan Controls 111742 Thermostatic Expansion Valve is an accurate component, that is used to control the flow of refrigerant to the evaporator in HVAC systems that use R-134A. It operates by detecting the temperature of evaporator outlet with a remote bulb and adjusting the valve opening to achieve the right amount of heat with a nominal capacity of 1/8 ton and 1/8″ x 3/8″ ODF connections to fit into small refrigeration loops. It operates in split air conditioning and refrigeration systems and maintains a constant refrigerant feed, eliminating liquid from the compressor.
