Description
The Danfoss 060-119166 Pressure Switch measures system temperature and opens or closes its electrical contacts when the measured value reaches a factory-set threshold, signaling the control circuit before conditions exceed safe operating limits. An internal sensing element deflects under pressure change, actuating the contact mechanism at the calibrated set point without external adjustment, within refrigeration and HVAC systems. It connects inline at compressor suction, discharge, or oil pressure ports and routes into existing pressure tap fittings without modification. Once active, it holds the contact state until pressure returns within range, protecting the refrigeration circuit from operating outside its rated pressure boundary.
