Description
The Watts 0276980 Pressure Relief Valve is a 1-1/2 inch 125 PSI valve that has the capacity of 6,460,000 BTU, designed to release excess pressure in HVAC systems and to prevent unsafe conditions in boiler equipment. It operates in a spring-loaded system that opens upon the increase of pressure above the set point and closes when it goes back to normal. It is attached on the boiler or hot water line, it is connected to threaded piping to allow discharge control. Its bronze body and consistent seating design can prevent the accumulation of pressure.
