The Watts 0121587 Temperature & Pressure Relief Valve is a safety part used on HVAC systems for instance boilers, water heaters, and solar thermal systems to prevent pressure and temperature build up. This valve works on the basic Concept that when the system pressure or temperature goes high 125 PSI and 210°F; the valve opens to discharge excess fluid which otherwise can lead to conditions such as explosions or equipment failure.
